Bróccán Tyzack-Carlin is a comedian and poet from Hartlepool.

He has headlined comedy and spoken word nights across the country and performed at the Royal Albert Hall in 2019. His debut show 'Don't Bother' toured to venues across the UK and Ireland, including a successful run at Edinburgh Fringe Festival (Underbelly), receiving 5 star reviews in the process.

At the 2019 Saboteur Awards he received the award for Best Spoken Word Show and was nominated for Best Spoken Word Performer. At the Greater Manchester Fringe Awards, he was nominated for Best Spoken Word Show, Best Comedy Show, and Best Newcomer.

He is currently touring  his new show "Turtle". It has enjoyed sell-out shows across the UK and was selected to perform at NSDF 2022.

He is a successful slam poet having won the Manchester Slam 2018 and the Huddersfield Literature Festival Slam 2019. He was runner up in the Manchester Champion of Champions Slam and a Hammer and Tongue National Finalist 2019.

Bróccán is a principal writer and performer on the BBC Radio Tees Comedy Hour. He is one half of sketch comedy duo Rompers, alongside his bearded friend Tristan Robinson. 'STOKED', their debut show, was curated as part of Great Yorkshire Fringe, and enjoyed a successful run in Manchester. His career in sketch comedy started as a member of the award-winning, sell-out troupe The Durham Revue.

As a playwright, his first play “Flowers and That”, a black comedy exploring grief and the paranormal, debuted at the Durham Drama Festival in 2018.
